On August 22–23, 2025, the Onuli Pop-Up lit up Ilab in Geneva, bringing the vibrance of African fashion to an international audience. The two-day event showcased the beauty of heritage-driven design, connecting fashion lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and tastemakers with Africa’s most innovative designers.
The choice of Ilab in Geneva provided the perfect backdrop for this African fashion experience. Its modern and versatile space allowed designers to present their collections in a way that highlighted the unique textures, colors, and stories behind every piece. For many guests, Ilab became more than a venue. It was transformed into a living celebration of identity, culture, and craftsmanship.
Among the standout designers were: MOT, Bola Nangabe, The budding blue etc. These brands, alongside other emerging African designers, gave visitors the opportunity to experience the diversity and richness of African fashion in one space. From innovative ready-to-wear to heritage-inspired collections, every brand told its own story of creativity and purpose.
